Well, hello there!

I’m Red (a.k.a Lyndsay).

If you’ve ended up here because you tapped my wristband, there’s a good chance we’ve met somewhere out in the wild,, while I was walking my dogs, or during one of my many random adventures.. I’m also a vocalist and performer so you may have been watching me stretch the pipes somewhere.

Red Queen Renaissance (RQR) exists because I learned something important.

For a long time I believed a lot of the things I loved had been left behind, the doors forever sealed shut.

It felt like the things I enjoyed: music, art, photography, science communication, learning new things, building ridiculous projects. And more importantly helping other people. Were just a distant memory. A door that life had closed.

But, then I went to see ACDC live in 2025.

Standing at the barriers and feeling the energy of the band I love reawakened something inside me that had been asleep and I assumed ceased to exist.

I started trying the handle of the music door I thought was closed. Not only did it open. It became a raging fire of passion in me again. So I tried the other doors…and well the rest was history (or Red Queen Renaissance). I decided to create space to share my journey in the hope of inspiring others to try their own door handles.

I’m a polymath. This basically means I get excited about almost everything and have spent my life collecting knowledge, skills and experience from a ridiculous number of places.

I can’t tell you which door will change your life.
I can only tell you that some of the doors you think are locked probably aren’t.
The only way to find out is to try the handle.

A quick note. Red Queen Renaissance is still very much under construction. I have years of digital chaos to tidy to add to my channels. Over time I’ll be adding guides, resources, more social media channels, creative projects, experiments, and all sorts of useful things.
